Simav Open Quarry – Stripping of 119,000,000 Tons of Overburden ; The scope of works includes loosening, excavation, loading, transportation, dumping and leveling of 110,000,000 tons of overburden and production of 3,650,000 tons of boron at Simav Open Quarry and construction and maintenance of roads and other necessary surface facilities within the confines of the Quarry.
